EMPOTRADO  furniture / limited edition

Empotrado is a collection of unique pieces of furniture designed by designer Cristian Mohaded and produced by Indusparquet Argentina to commemorate the brand´s 50 years in the market.

The project aims to re-purpose the use of the parquet through a specially designed pattern to achieve unique surfaces for each piece. They are characterized by their brutalist aproach, the elegance of their lines, and the visual strength of their volumes. The dialougue between different traditional patterns of parquet such as Fajas, Versallers, Chevron, Espiga, Monticello y Haddon, and others, create a 3D dinamic composition and continues inviting us to observe all of its faces made from Sucupira, a strong, heavy wood found in the north of South America.
