CRUZA tapestry / unique piece

In rural Argentina, Cruza refers to the crossing of animal species, the mixing of breeds and blood. In the textile world, threads overlap their destinations in the form of a cross lead by the warp and weft. A new species of rug emerges from the intersection of lines that crisscross a traditional “guarda atada” fabric. Origin, blood, soil, land. Elements that envelope us and give birth to new languages.
